Social Media and Marketing Associate

Hello!Lucky is seeking a part-time Social Media and Marketing Associate to aid execution and organization of day-to-day marketing and social media efforts for Hello!Lucky. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter who is highly organized, and can quickly and precisely execute on marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the Hello!Lucky team, collaborating to accomplish successful email marketing, advertising, social media, and all relevant tasks. You do not need to be local to apply, we are open to a remote position.

 

The Job

  • Assist Marketing and Creative Director by executing quickly and precisely on current and proposed marketing efforts.

  • Send newsletters via Mailchimp

  • Update website content regularly

  • Manage e-commerce page by adding new products to site

  • Coordinate timelines and production of creative assets (art and writing) for marketing and workshops

  • Social media engagement monitoring and response

  • Manage contests and giveaways

  • Implementation of social marketing campaigns and initiatives via the following channels: Blog, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter

  • Affiliate marketing management via Shareasale

  • Respond to customer service inquiries in a professional and timely manner

 

Qualification

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities, and self-manage
     

  • Very hard-working and highly-organized

  • Able to work well in teams and have a sense of humor

  • Passion for design, letter-writing, and retail

  • Some knowledge of Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

  • Comfortable with Google Drive

  • Own your own laptop and smartphone

  • Minimum 15 hrs per week

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

 

Would be nice, but not essential:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Graphic design skills

  • Photography skills

  • Familiarity with Squarespace

  • Familiarity with Mailchimp

 

Compensation

$18/hour, roughly 15 hours a week to start
