Craftzine recently featured a great article about our new book, Handmade Weddings!
Click here, give it a gander, and download PDF instructions for how to make this charming cupcake stand! (It's a sweet little taste of what goodies you'll find in the book.) Enjoy!
Adore Lynette Andreasen's work! She incorporates embroidery into a lot of her metal sculpture and jewelry. Love the contrast of textures.
Embroidered flowers on a pewter plate. Gorgeous and utterly fascinating! Want it!
That would be quite a piece to wear out on Valentine's Day, no?
Love the shadow, the silhouette and the softness of the fibers.
This one reminds us a touch of Joel Dewberry's Ironwork and Architecture designs. Love, love!
Speaking of Valentine's day treats, how sweet is this Heart Cake?!

Gifts.com featured a super fun Hello!Lucky DIY project on their Gift Rap blog! Along with fun instructional videos (complete with bluegrass music!), they include a printable PDF version of several of our Valentines cards so that you can print and personalize them to your heart's content!
Our Guess Who owl is one of six Valentine card designs to choose from.
Happy crafting!
Speaking of the Yarn Wrapped Bottles project from Handmade Weddings, it was featured the latest issue of Bride's! Woot!
If you are looking for inexpensive baby or wedding decor project, look no further than this yarn wrapped monogram from Evie S. - such a cute idea! We can easily see a couple of these spelling out a baby's name or with an ampersand as a fun wedding element...the possibilities are endless! This project reminds us of our yarn wrapped bottles from our new book, Handmade Weddings!

Esther Aart's darling new Valentine card, Cup of Tea made us think of the beautiful, handmade ceramic work of Sam Chung.
Love the cloud cups. And the graphic style. And the gleaming porcelain.
If you'd like to see more of Sam's work, look here.
And there are more brand new Valentine's day card designs to choose from, here.
LOVE THESE! Artist Melina Martin from Wellington illustrates and silk screens these beautiful designs for table runners, tea towels and pillows. Found her here on Etsy.
She draws her inspiration from the nature and culture of New Zealand.
Maybe we see a little Maori influence here?
Beautiful! And what a backdrop! We would like to go visit, please...?
Apologies in advance but we couldn't help re-posting these ridiculously adorable Pantone Cookies featured on Design*Sponge. Designer/baker Kim Neill created the cookies as gifts for her clients, using as edible marker to delineate each spot color. Apparently, pink, red and silver were the most popular! Click here for more info.
We came across this super brill on Somewhere Splendid - so cool and inspiring!
Love the loose, modern, fun approach and the quirky little animal details...
We have a seriously thing for neon pink and love the way it pops when combined with cool neutrals...
And, well, seriously, ANYTHING with a meerkat...! See more here.
Ok, totally obsessing over Essimar Papel - the work of artist Esther Ramirez.
She creates all kinds of seriously cool wraps from scrap, confetti, masking tape and the like...
We happen to be working on a really cool custom invitation that is all about found paper and handmade details (gold leaf! neon pink! so exciting! - more on that later), so needless to say when we came across Esther's work we were super duper inspired!
Amazing, right?
Check out more of her projects on her blog and her etsy shop...
