Shannon and Jason's Super 8 wedding video
Check out this picturesque video (shot in Super 8!) of Shannon and Jason's Texas wedding created by filmmaker Vanessa McKellar featuring our Heartland wedding suite. So sweet!
Possibly the most perfect wedding video ever created
Apologies for the insanely long title, but this video of model Coco Rocha and designer James Conran's wedding is so stunning and beautiful that nothing less would have been appropriate. To see the longer cut, please go here.

Real wedding: Erin and Jeremy
We are thrilled to report that the wedding of Eunice's best friend, Erin and her new hubby, Jeremy, is featured on Style Me Pretty today!
It was a truly fabulous and fun affair, designed by Alison Events, with lots of ingenious details, including a vintage card catalog that acted as the seating guide. Each guest's card was cross-referenced with other guests according to interests, life history, etc....
...and possibly the most amazing and hilarious first dance - done to Hey Soul Sister by Train and including the Beyoncé's signature move from All the Single Ladies (need we say more?)...
...a photo booth by Magnolia Photo Booth - always a huge hit at any party...
We collaborated with Erin and Jeremy to come up with a charming array of stationery inspired by vintage ephemera and McSweeny's. The invitation was supposed to look like a page torn from a book...
The replies were Mad Libs fashioned to look like an old school Western Union telegram...
And the programs, designed to look like a vintage book...
This was one of our favorite projects so far this year! We really loved their creativity and sense of fun.

Real wedding: Martine and Fred
Crafty couple Martine and Fred used our free template to create a sign for their signature cocktail for their recent Oregon wedding. Yay! We're so pleased we could contribute to this rustic event featuring bundt cakes, show posters and a country band! See more photos from this fun wedding at the fabulously redesigned Snippet and Ink!
Check out these stunning photos from Alix (aka The Cherry Blossom Girl) and Manu's wedding in Auvergne, France. Alix designed her dress and had it made in the MLH atelier. Gorgeous!

Real Wedding: Lily and Andrew
Did you see Lily and Andrew's breathtaking wine country wedding on Style Me Pretty? Can you say gorgeous? We worked with the bride and groom to create all their paper products - from the save the dates to the place cards, and everything in between. Inspired by our Classic Cowboy, Heartland and Biltmore wedding designs, we created a unique suite that fit their rustic chic theme perfectly.
The wedding was a true family affair. Andrew's cousin Jocelyn Arelt was their wedding planner, and Andrew's aunt, Valerie Arelt, did all the flowers!
The wedding and reception took place in the Sonoma Valley, at Lily's parents ranch. It was 106 that day! The ceremony took place in the middle of an oak grove.
Guests enjoyed dinner catered by the Jimtown store in a Zephyr tent.
Lily wore a Monique Lhuillier dress and Andrew donned a Thomas Pink suit.
Many, many congrats to Lily and Andrew!!!

The story of a dress
We've gotten so many comments about Eunice's fabulous wedding dress! She came up with the original design of her dress and made a sketch with a rough idea of what she was looking for.
She then handed the sketches off to Iain Bartlett (also know as H!L UK Sales manager), trusting him implicitly to turn them into the fabulous concoction that he came up with. He hand-stitched all those ruffles on (literally hundreds), and made a beautiful petticoat from raw silk and this amazing fabric made of bits of netting -- it looked like the under skirt was trimmed in feathers.
Stunning!
San Francisco Wedding Fair
We're looking forward to the San Francisco Wedding Fair this Sunday, January 10 from 11 - 4 at Four Seasons Hotel. Let's face it: most bridal shows are a kind of lame. However, this one consistently attracts some quality vendors. If you're thinking of only hitting one of these events, it's the one to check out.
We'll be there exhibiting with partner Magnolia Photo Booth, an awesome photo booth company that just launched in the Bay Area. Magnolia will be demo-ing their booth, and we have some brand spanking new save the date designs that use the photos & photo booth pics! Magnolia keeps a booth at our studio at 977 Howard Street (between 5th and 6th), so you can drop by use it for free to make awesome save the dates, thank you cards & more (just call ahead, as it's sometimes out on loan).
A few vendors to definitely check out at the show:
Cakes & Sweets
Calligraphy
Florists
Rentals
Classic Party Rentals Hartmann Studios
Event Designers
Check out the San Francisco Wedding Fair website for a full list of exhibitors. Enjoy!
Real wedding: Hollin + Eric
We are loving Hollin and Eric's beautiful wedding, full of sweet details and DIY elements. Hollin, along with some helpful friends and family, created most of the decorations, and it all turned out so vintage chic!
Thanks to the very talented Ben Blood for sharing his gorgeous photos of their wedding at Treehouse Point in Issaquah, Washington. Tree-filled and moss-covered, Treehouse Point offers two incredible treehouses for lodging by master treehouse builder Pete Nelson who, along with his wife Judy, host private events and overnight retreats. So natural and ethereal!
The groomsmen donned tweed and wore handmade mismatching boutineers and ties.
Hollin's vintage inspired dress was made by Portland designer Holly Stalder, who even gave Hollin extra fabric for her to make the flower on her veil! So lovely.
Hollin and her bridesmaids made their own headpieces...just gorgeous!
The bride's sister and maid of honor Keiko, hand drew and screen printed coffee and tea bags as favors for the guests.
Hollin's mom made each of the bridesmaid's dresses. We love the fabric and individual sash detailing.
Hello!Lucky designer Anna created whimsical invitations complete with illustrations of the bride and groom dancing under the trees.
What a talented group of people! Congratulations, Hollin and Eric!

Timeless Vixen Vintage
We absolutely LOVE vintage clothing and vintage dresses in particular. Timeless Vixen Vintage (found via Snippet & Ink - Merry Go Round inspiration board) has not only an amazing selection of gorgeous dresses, but remarkably, many of them are in reasonable sizes as well! How fabulous would these dresses be for bridemaids?
The dresses are a wee bit pricey, but so fantastic and in such great condition, it might very well be worth it for a special occasion!
Love this 40's number...
We can't get over their really stunning selection of stylish pieces...
Love the cherry red! And a fifties party dress is flattering on almost anyone...
And they have gorgeous things from somewhat harder to find eras, like this navy blue 1930's flutter dress...(and it's not a size 0! No offense to all you size 0's out there, but for those of us who have so often gazed longingly at a gorgeous bit of vintage with a 25" waist and then, regretfully, put it back on the rack - hurrah!!)
This Edwardian tea dress would make a stunning wedding dress...it reminds of us the dress worn in this woodland inspired wedding....
Love, love, LOVE it!
