TILT Wedding Fair this Sunday!

Calling all brides, grooms, wedding fanatics, and friends! We are delighted to be a part of the TILT Wedding Fair taking place this Sunday, and we want you to join! TILT is hosting this years not-your-average wedding fair at Swarm Gallery in Oakland, and it will be bustling with local designers, vendors, and event extraordinaires. If you're dreaming of a unique wedding and looking for a place to start, you definitely shouldn't miss this event! We will be there mingling with the guests and offering first hand information about our invitations (and maybe even a take-home souvenir??!). Check out the list of fellow exhibitors here!

Real Wedding: Brooke and Ryan

Brooke and Ryan's wedding photos make us melt! Pretty Little Weddings shared a lovely story of their engagement, and it's obvious the two are madly in love.

Bald Head Island, North Carolina served as a perfect seaside setting.

The couple modified our Seagulls design to create paddle fan programs, and used their designed monogram throughout the event.

Sheets and blankets were available to relax in the open air!

Their monogram was printed on tote bags as wedding favors - what a great way to carry on the theme!

Real Wedding: Kim and Chris

Seattle-ites Kim and Chris sure do know how to throw a party! The couple recently wed at a stunning private home in Palm Springs, complete with fabulous pool and beautiful landscaped grounds.

Each guest was welcomed with a grapefruit vodka cooler in a Cat Studio "Palm Springs" glass, which were later used (washed, of course!) as the couple's favors. Such a cute idea!

Kim and Chris chose our Mi Amor Save the Date - the bright colors are perfect for this summer event!

There were so many fun details - we especially love these sparkly initials used on the bride and grooms chairs.

All the flowers were purchased from Trader Joe's and arranged by Kim's aunt. She also made Kim's headpiece - what a talented lady to have in the family!

Kim and Chris cut their Bristol Farms cake with a saber that belonged to Chris' grandfather. All of his kids and grandkids have used it at their weddings. The cake topper was the one Kim's grandparents used on their cake sixty years ago!

Kim's gorgeous retro dress is from Oscar De La Renta, and Chris' suit is from Kenneth Cole.

How fabulous! Congrats you guys!

Real Wedding: Erin and Mark

We've sent plenty of wedding stationery out into the world, but its such a treat when the photos come back to us and we get to see how it all comes together on the big day!  We just got a surprise delivery of these gorgeous snaps of Erin and Mark's wedding from Michelle Warren Photography for which we designed the initial invitations.

Love the sweet and unique details!

Erin and Mark set up a photo booth with glam velvet curtains and used our chalk word bubbles as props!

The couple's original wedding invitation was from our Naturalist suite.  The bird icon was carried over into their wedding program where they used torn fabric to bind the pages together.  The epitome of causal simplicity!

The New York Times reported this weekend that wedding dress designers across the world are trying to get a head start on knocking off Kate Middleton's wedding dress. What do you think she will wear? There's even an interactive poll here, if you want to guess!

Kate Spade wedding!

Kate Spade just launched their first ever wedding line - let the swooning begin! Her line includes retro fabulous dresses for the bride, cute frocks for bridesmaids, and some pretty adorable numbers for the honeymoon! The shoes and accessories aren't too shabby either!

Studio Snapshot: Trunk Show + Bridal Tour

What a busy weekend we've had!  On Saturday Hello!Lucky played host to two of Portland's finest clothing designers - Duchess, a company that crafts retro inspired bespoke suits (grooms, take note!) and Elizabeth Dye who seemed to float into our space with clouds of vintage silk and lace - her wedding dresses are to die for! Then on Sunday we opened our doors to the Dream A Little Dream bridal tour and met a fabulous group of new brides-to-be!

We are thrilled to announce that we are hosting a trunk show with Duchess Custom Clothier (sartorial splendor!) and Elizabeth Dye (dreamy dresses!)  Please join us!

Elizabeth will be showing her full 2011 collection as well as some unique pieces, and Duchess will be showcasing gorgeous custom suits. Both are based in Portland so be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to meet them in SF!

Vintage Mexican Wedding Dresses

For rustic elegance for a southwestern wedding, or a beach destination wedding, we think these 50's and 60's vintage Mexican wedding dresses are muy lovely.

Found this on Ruffled.  Sadly, it sold a while back on Etsy. Maybe there are others like it just waiting to be found in closets and estate sales?
