LOVE THESE! Artist Melina Martin from Wellington illustrates and silk screens these beautiful designs for table runners, tea towels and pillows. Found her here on Etsy.
She draws her inspiration from the nature and culture of New Zealand.
Maybe we see a little Maori influence here?
Beautiful! And what a backdrop! We would like to go visit, please...?
This charming variation of our rustic Heartland design was featured on Berkshire Wedding Style!
Adore the colors and the eclectic décor! And we bet the beautiful Berkshires made for the perfect backdrop. (Some of us here at Hello!Lucky can claim those pretty mountains in western Mass. as old stomping ground.)
We love doing custom designs with Heartland/Apple Farm! Keep'm comin'!
Apologies in advance but we couldn't help re-posting these ridiculously adorable Pantone Cookies featured on Design*Sponge. Designer/baker Kim Neill created the cookies as gifts for her clients, using as edible marker to delineate each spot color. Apparently, pink, red and silver were the most popular! Click here for more info.
So inspiring...
We've been thinking pink around here— our super cute new Valentine's cards seem to be popping up everywhere and Valentine's Day is just around the corner!
Love, icing and typography! The best combo, and just our cup of tea!
But Linzer Hearts might just be our fave.
This awesome San Francisco typography map was created by Axis Maps using only type - how cool is that! Available for purchase here, and there is even a limited edition letterpress version coming out soon!

We came across this super brill on Somewhere Splendid - so cool and inspiring!
Love the loose, modern, fun approach and the quirky little animal details...
We have a seriously thing for neon pink and love the way it pops when combined with cool neutrals...
And, well, seriously, ANYTHING with a meerkat...! See more here.
Check out these lovely cake stands that you (yes, you!) can make with just a teeny bit of effort!
We love how sweet, yet modern, they look...
They're from table legs, plywood, and dollhouse trim!
We found these on You Are My Fave and the tutorial can be found in Bee in Our Bonnet...
These prize ribbons from the Curiosity Shoppe (one of our favorite local stores) would make great boutonnieres!

How cute are these little origami boxes? We found them over on Les Surprises de Fifi Mandirac (these are her super adorable papers - love the mixed patterns). She found this on K.Design, a lovely blog with all kinds of cute origami ideas...
They would make adorable favor boxes and they look pretty easy to make! You can find the instructions here (they are very clear, but in French, so a quick translation follows, should you need it!)
Row 1: I used a piece of square origami paper (12 x 12 cm or 15 x 15 cm)
Row 2: Fold along dotted lines
Row 3: Unfold the left and right sides
Row 4: Raise the left side; bring the flap down and inside
Row 5: Repeat on the right side
Conseil: Tip: to make a cover, use a slightly larger piece of paper
We posted on the amazing Dana Tanamachi a little while ago, but we had to bring her up again, because (drum roll please!) she is available to do custom lettering on anything covered in chalkboard paint - i.e. a totally amazing something something for your wedding! How amazing would having something like the above be? Amazing! Cover a sheet of plywood with chalkboard paint and voila! a genius thing for your décor and a fab keepsake! We could also imagine seriously cool backdrop for the ceremony or a photo booth...We are giddy; oh the possibilities...
This rant a continuation of a rant on 100 Layer Cake...
Aren't these mini donuts dreamy? They would be so lovely as a little treat at a wedding - can't you just see them nested in little glassine bags? We can! And it would be gorgeous!
Apparently, they're super easy to make and delicious. You can find instructions at Such Pretty Things...

...makes the most beautiful cakes we've ever seen! We don't even really want to eat this so much as wear it...
She used to be a ballet dancer - so apropos, no?
So ethereal and lovely...see the rest of her stunning portfolio here...

What a cute idea! We need this heart-shaped confetti punch immediately.

Ok, totally obsessing over Essimar Papel - the work of artist Esther Ramirez.
She creates all kinds of seriously cool wraps from scrap, confetti, masking tape and the like...
We happen to be working on a really cool custom invitation that is all about found paper and handmade details (gold leaf! neon pink! so exciting! - more on that later), so needless to say when we came across Esther's work we were super duper inspired!
Amazing, right?
Check out more of her projects on her blog and her etsy shop...

We're a wee bit tardy on this (ha!) but check out this interactive map we designed for the ever marvelous Alison Events.
They traveled something like 84 (!) days out of the year last year, orchestrating fab destination weddings the world over. Each icon opens up stunning photos from each destination. Check it out in action here!
We are SUPER excited to report that our new book, Handmade Weddings, created with the extra fabulous Shana Faust, is here!!
The book includes over 50 delightful (if we do say so ourselves! ) projects designed to inspire, whether your look is modern classic or retro homespun along with lots of guidance on choosing a look, sourcing materials, and working out timelines.
Better yet, 100 Layer Cake is giving away 5 copies (as we speak!) to lucky readers as well as a discount on the book!
Here's the cute trailer for the book! Woot! (very excited!)
Loving this "just hitched" sign by Bash Please from this Los Angeles wedding...so cute!
