We can not wait to get our hands on Rebecca Thus's new book, Paper to Petal. Rebecca's book features 75 projects to create with paper flowers. There are craft recipes for everything you can imagine from party decorations, bouquets, to floral centerpieces. Even if you've made paper flowers before -- as we have many times, this books looks like it has some sweet new takes on turning ordinary paper into gorgeous flowers.

Pom poms and paper lanterns

We confess, we're suckers for pom poms! They're easy to make, and for those without a DIY-bent they're available in inexpensive kits from Martha Stewart Crafts (also a great resource for DIY favors, rubber stamps, labels, and wedding accessories, including one of the only print-at-home program and place card kits we've seen!). You can also get great paper lanterns in a rainbow of colors at Pearl River.

Of course, we're fans of getting creative and trying out mix-and-match colors and shapes, per this gorgeous combination by Rebecca Thuss. Lovely!

We had the privilege of working with eminent stylist, creative director, and crafter Rebecca Thuss on the decor of Martha Stewart Weddings editor Shana Faust's wedding, pictured in the bottom image above, for which we created our signature Cherry Blossom wedding invitation. Her gorgeous website features beautiful examples of her ground-breaking work, and is one of our favorite sources of inspiration!
