New! Save the Date Magnets!

Announcing! A brand new addition to the Hello!Lucky family. Now you can get all your favorite save the date cards (and some new designs!) printed on a magnet! We've had lots of people request magnet save the dates in the past, and it's been a work in progress, but we're delighted to finally have them available on our website. Our latest photo save the dates come with a yearly calendar to serve as a reminder for the event to come. (Shown above, Banner year 2013)

Just visit hellolucky.com, and under the wedding invitations tab click "save the dates." Scroll all the way to the bottom and there you will find all our most popular cards in magnet form!

New Wedding Invitations!

This week we released three new wedding suites on our site. We're so excited to add two more beautiful Joel Dewberry designs to our collection. Secret Garden and English Rose are both delicate and romantic, perfect for a Spring or Summer wedding.

In addition to these elegant invites we've also released a brand new design from yours truly named Darling Bud. The layered lines and textures in Darling Bud are just begging to be letterpressed but it looks just as pretty printed flat.

Sweet vintage button designs!

Swooning over these particularly gorgeous edible sugar buttons from andiespecialtysweets.

They come in chocolate for those who like a little kick, and a little more of a rustic feel.

They make us recall of one our sweetest custom save the date designs— a  darling variation on Big Day!  Drop us a line if you're interested in this design for your wedding:

Heartland Evolution

We thought y'all might be interested in seeing all the great ways we've riffed our Heartland/Apple Farm design.  So many people have adapted it to their own farm setting— so we thought it would be nice to share!   Above is our original Apple Farm design on the left and a super cute version that Melanie Case commissioned on the right. Love the apple and orange on the same branch, brilliant!

How sweet— a Michigan Cherry orchard and a ceremony in Sun Valley Idaho! Love the horseshoes and the cowboy chic.

Then Eunice did a great riff on the Sun Valley Idaho version for Shannon and Jason and their Texas ranch wedding.  It's fun to see the two versions of the trees— we got it right on the bottom RSVP with the more deciduous looking variety. Check out the adorable Super 8 film of their wedding here.

Another great aspect about Heartland is that we can often substitute motifs from our other designs with great results!  The motif from our Vintage Rose design was perfect for the garden wedding on the left, and our Mi Amor birds went wonderfully with the Mexican flags on the right!

Real wedding: Abby & Ross

Congrats to Abby and Ross, who got married last month at Limn Gallery, a beautiful modern space in San Francisco!

It all began with this custom save the date design that we created for the couple, combining a nod to the fact that the space is a functioning art gallery, and a little bit of wit and whimsy!

Limn provided a chic, minimal backdrop for the reception. The event was catered by Jane Hammond Events.

Emily Dreblow of Soulflower Floral Design created these lovely sculptural boutonnieres, as well as the succulent centerpieces.

We revived the save the date design in a welcome sign carved by Because We Can...and a hand drawn seating chart.

The ceremony was held in gallery's outdoor courtyard.

The bride wore this gorgeous beaded shrug, custom made by seamstress Glenda Pongiglione.

The programs coordinated with their invitations (they chose the Lunaria invitation design in espresso and apple).

Promptly after the ceremony, they left for an amazing honeymoon in Greece (we're so jealous!!). Congratulations, Abby & Ross!!
