Yesterday we met with our new favorite accessory designer Mimi Tsang of Hello Shiso. The company started in 2010 with Mimi assembling each product personally by hand & has since flourished! We are in love with Hello Shiso designs. These accessories serve as the perfect addition to the little ladies outfit! We couldn't resist and had to buy some for Eunice's baby Imogen who is modeling her new Hello Shiso clips below! Check out these sweet heart shaped bobby pins, just in time for Valentines Day! In the studio with Jennifer Behr
The other week when we were in New York we had the privilege of spending several hours playing at the brilliantly talented Jennifer Behr's Fort Green studio. Jen is working on a headpiece for Eunice's upcoming wedding, and we probably spent about 3 hours trying on all manner of be-jeweled, be-feathered, be-ribboned hair accessories. It was so much fun! Here's Jen trying a piece on Eunice...
One of Jen's more over-the-top headpieces (she regularly makes one-of-a-kind pieces for Vogue, W, etc.)
Beautiful baubles were everywhere...
Her flat files are full of different pieces, like these beautiful rope creations...
Or these gorgeous fabric flowers...
Sometimes you come across a drawer full of treasures like this one...
Glittery copper leaves...
A collection of vintage millinery tools in her fireplace...
Here's Jen's main work table, where all the magic happens!
And her cozy kitchen. It's crafter's and a fashionista's paradise - can't wait to visit again next time we're in New York!
