Oh, Vintage Fisher Price, We Heart You!

SL_doggie

We grew up in the 70's and 80's, so Fisher Price holds a particular place in our collective hearts, but, seriously, how could you not love these classic toys?  The aesthetic is so very, very cool...

And this camera?  Seriously.

chatterphone

Fisher Price has brought back a few of their vintage toys, such as the classic Chatter Telephone (though it amuses us to think that the average child would be utterly mystified by this phone - rotary dial? Wha??) and the Record Player and let's not forget The Corn Popper Push Toy! We wish they would bring back more!

Vintage Ornaments

It's been too long since we've made it out to the Alameda Flea Market, so when we were reminded the other day of how much we adore vintage blown-glass ornaments, we had to find someplace to get an eyeful.  Our Woodblock Ornaments holiday card design put us in the mood, and we turned up all these lovelies to help us flea-shop vicariously. Wedding Inspiration: Factory 20

We're delighted to bring you one of our latest obsessions--Factory 20, a mecca of vintage furniture and rustic wedding bric-a-brac. This is a perfect place to get inspiration and potentially splurge for some personalized vintage flair to your special day.

For country chic weddings, we can only imagine what crafty minds could do with this vintage dairy farm metal basket.

Vintage gas station numbers! Can we say Totally Adorable Idea for Table Numbers?

And how cute would this be for a bar or welcome table at a big-top inspired wedding?

A lot of the pieces quite spendy and one-of-a-kind, so if budget allows, think about how to re-use in your home after the event.

Vintage China

Cake StandCake Stand Daily Candy London featured Katy Potts Tea for Two Vintage English China today, and we are smitten!  All the china shown was created between the 1920's and 1950's and comes charmingly wrapped in a vintage-inspired hatbox.

How adorable are these butter dishes and toast racks?   Not that we need anything else to covet!

Prize

PrizePrize DeerPrize Card RackPrize Trophy CupPrize Chandeliers We just discovered these gorgeous photos of Prize, an eclectic shop in Ashland, Oregon, on the Paris Boutique Hotel blog (a favorite!) and we are frothing at the mouth! We want to drop everything and go, right now (unfortunately, however, we blew our budget for vintage ephemera at last month's Alameda Flea Market so we may need to postpone the spontaneous road trip!).

You can visit her adorable website here - just note that you can't shop online just yet. See more gorgeous photos here.
