Today is the Sweetest Day! For those of you who are unfamiliar, the Sweetest Day is a holiday in which we are encouraged to do something kind or give something sweet to our loved ones or those who could use some love. It began in Cleveland, Ohio in 1922 when a kind gentleman and local candy company employee Herbert Birch Kingston wanted to give candy to the less fortunate people in his community. It's since spread nation wide and every third Saturday in October we take time to do something sweet for others.
